Santa Barbara Architect - Spanish Style Design

From 1957 to the present, Edwards-Pitman has embraced the Mediterranean style of Santa Barbara's rich architectural history while continuing to meet the needs of the city's eclectic tastes - both in its elegant neighborhoods and distinctive downtown district.

Over the last 6 decades Edwards-Pitman has produced many significant Santa Barbara landmarks. They have been sought after by some of the city's most respected residents for their professional guidance as well as to make their unique architectural visions a reality.

"The Santa Barbara Historical Museum has depended upon Edwards-Pitman Architects’ architectural services since 1967, and it’s not just because the firm is located next door to the Museum! Our past association with John Pitman was very rewarding in our shared appreciation for the history and style of this beautiful city. The staff at EP has always responded professionally to our specific needs and provided the expertise to accomplish the best we could hope for in upgrading our facility to fulfill the requirements of a modern museum, while preserving the historical character of the building. We are also proud of the sensitivity the staff of EP utilizes in assisting the Museum in its conservation efforts of its other historic structures on this site and other locations in Santa Barbara."
